Anderson Cooper Flees From Egypt

It is with a heavy heart that I now have three posts about CNN’s Anderson Cooper. Wanna-be news man can’t handle a protest situation, much less an actual war zone.

I guess this is to be expected when your mommy is Gloria Vanderbilt and your great-great-great-granddaddy is Cornelius Vanderbilt. How pathetic was Anderson while in Egypt? Read the post here.

Amanpour Gets Mubarak Interview… While Anderson Cooper Hides In “Undisclosed Location”

I really thought I’d never have another post about CNN’s wannabe news-stud, but this is just pathetic. You got beat up, dude. Get over it. You’re wussifying your entire network.

Meanwhile, over at the CNBC Ranch, Chris Matthews, carrying his torch for the departed Keith Olbermann, is devoting hours of national airtime to whining about lunatic Glen Beck.

You guys are the raison d’être for my links to something halfway valuable. That the bunch of you are the dominant voices on America’s airwaves is the strongest argument against mixing free markets with democratic systems.

BTW, our brave Anderson’s response to getting hit is in this post here.

Anderson Cooper Rides the Subway?

Frankly, I’ve never cared (or even ever wondered) how Anderson Cooper gets to work, but this pic in today’s New York Post with the caption “Anderson Cooper rides the New York City subway after leaving CNN” did surprise me. I guess I expected CNN’s main guy to have a car service, rather than be a regular subway commuter…not that there’s anything wrong with it.
